Cleveland Coast Guard Station

I have been fascinated with the Coast Guard Station due to its Bauhaus flair. It really reminds me of that aesthetic. The Coast Guard moved out of the harbor station in 1976, the same year it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has been empty and crumbling ever since. As late as 2006, if not later, most of the windows and doors were gone and the once meticulously maintained building was lined with pigeons and their droppings. It remains to be seen how the station and the land surrounding it is being developed.
