What do you do when you’ve checked all or at least most of the touristy stuff off the list in DC? You photograph abstracts. These were taken around one of my favorite buildings there, the National Gallery. After I’d had my fill in terms of photography, paintings, sculpture and modern art, I decided to focus on the architecture around me. Featured here: the inside stairs at the East Building, which houses the museum’s modern art collections.
